How to Draw a School – let’s get Initiated!
Step 1
Start by drawing a wide trapezoidal shape at the top of your paper. This forms the roof of the school. Starting at the top of the paper ensures enough space for the wall and other parts of the frame. Remember, keep a light grip and strokes when drawing an outline or rough sketches. Avoid pressing too hard with the pencil so you can quickly eliminate lines you no longer need later on. Drawing a school relies heavily on straight lines. So sense free to use a ruler every step of the way to help. You pull straight lines fast and easily.
Step 2
Draw a wide triangular shape overlapping in the middle of the trapezoidal shape we drew in the previous step. Then erase the parts of the trapezoid that overlap inside the triangle shape. This helps keep your drawing clean, tidy, and, most importantly, polished. Note that the triangle shape should be slightly taller than the trapezoid shape, as shown in the illustration above.
Step 3
Draw a vertical line on each side just below the school’s roof. Then connect both ends of the vertical lines by drawing a horizontal line at the bottom. This forms the structure of the walls or foundation of the school. At this point, the entire structure of the school is already complete. Now, all that’s missing are a few features and details, which is what we’ll work on next.
Step 4
Draw three rectangular shapes on top of each other at the bottom center of the establishment. Note that the rectangle at the top of the stairs should be the smallest, while the one at the bottom should be the largest. This creates the illusion of stairs going up.
Step 5
In this step, we will draw some lines on the ceiling and wall of the school to improve its appearance. Continue drawing a broad inverted V-shaped line inside the triangle-shaped roof. The line should be parallel to the ceiling contour. Then draw two parallel vertical lines under the ceiling to create a space where the door will be drawn later. Then draw a vertical line parallel to each side of the school wall.
Step 6
Draw a standing rectangle form with a border on all four flanks. Then, draw a horizontal and vertical parallel line that intersects inside the rectangle shape. This creates a single window in the school wall. After finishing this step, you should have six windows on the school wall: two on both sides and two in the middle.
Step 7
Just above the stairs we drew earlier on the fourth step, draw an open-bottomed square with a borderline parallel. This creates the door, which is the entrance to the establishment’s interior. Next, draw a vertical line down the center of the door. This creates a partition between the left and right doors.
Step 8
Draw a perfect circle shape with a smaller circle inside at the top of the triangle-shaped roof. This forms the outline of the clock. Next, draw the line at an angle to create the clock hands based on the time you want to display. Don’t forget to add a small rectangular shape to the top of each door. This forms the ventilation that doors usually have.
Step 9
Draw the word “school” below the clock we drew in the previous step. Keep all letters capitalized to make them more visible, as shown in the illustration above. As you can see, the drawing of the school is already finished. Now, all that’s missing is a splash of colors! There you have it. We retain successfully drawn a school! Finally, it’s time for the most exciting part we’ve all been waiting for, coloring the school! The colors you’ll wear to school are entirely up to you! Feel gratis to use any color you like and customize the tints however you like! Have fun playing with colors, and watch the school finally come to life!
